A world-class brand partnership fuelled by unrelenting ambition
As the global leader in sports fuel, Gatorade has partnered with Wrexham AFC in a first of a kind partnership to ‘leverage the powerful intersection of sports and entertainment to reach new audiences around the globe.’
The collaboration needed to be highly visible at Wrexham’s famous Racecourse ground, while also respecting the environment as a place of work – not a TV set.
Since taking over at Wrexham in 2020, Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have invested heavily in the ambition of the club and players to get to the very top. And with Gatorade’s history of working with the best athletes in the world, the brand wanted to fuel this goal by becoming their official hydration partner.
The co-branding throughout the ground reflects the dedication and professionalism of both brands, and elevates the club’s look to be more consistent with its world-class partner.
With the main co-branding focused in high traffic areas such as changing rooms, gym, treatment room, walkways, etc. Gatorade features prominently in series 3 of the ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary on Disney+.
The brand’s integral role in player and team development will be recognised by a wider global audience and Wrexham has a slick new look more befitting of their ultimate goal.
